I think the comeback of trams is a cure for traffic jam (and other problems in communication, e.g. no places for parking for cars) in European cities.

Nice photo documentary of these trams. The process looks like a very old post card with the tones and composition.

It's a pity, but is impossible to make a photo of these trams on other place in my city. They was showed last Sunday (21-st of September 2008) only on that street (it is a spare route and they wasn't disturb in normal street traffic). In fact, in Wrocław everywhere are modern buildings, even on the oldest part (Wrocław has a crazy history, especially last sixty years). Next question - people. It was really crowdy and I am happy that on this photo are only three person. If I was a professional photographer maybe I will be allowed to make photos objects like this trams without other people and in another scenery.

Bloków nie mogę sobie pójść i wyburzyć, chociaż mi się nie podobają. Nie mogłam też przestawić tramwajów :) ani przegonić ludzi, a jeszcze za mało mam doświadczenia w programach graficznych, żeby wystempelkować niepasujące do fotografii elementy

Good post process effect to get the old atmosphere. In fact the quality of the capture was somewhat degraded in clarity and displayed in B&W.
The background : the photographer at the left and the concrete flat buildings show modernity however. Did you make pictures of these old trams on other places in the old town as well ?
