About	Malakas and Maganda is a Filipino tale of the beginning of man and woman like that of the story of Adam and Eve. Malakas means strong and maganda means beautiful. They were supposed to have been brought to life from a split bamboo tree. The eye in the middle represents God watching over them.

Thanks for your comments! This was taken from the house of my in-laws. Yes, Angono is indeed very rich in culture as it is home to many national artists.
