Hi Joe just got in from work. I was in Helena a few years ago and was hustling books for my wife's publishing company. Had camera with and was catching some of Helena's glory. Being a builder I like what was done before when it was outstanding! Glad you liked it as well. I will be watching for the Edinburgh saga with anticipation. Be well, Stan

Great architectural details Stan, with cool colours. That what I loved about Scotland, great architecture everywhere you looked, specially in Edinburgh. In fact I will post a shot from that town. Well captured. Best regards, Joe

Oh, it *definitely* is such a "wonderful showpiece for the craftsmanship", Stan. Since the new architecture decided to go as sterile, as you say, we don't see much of that craftsmanship anymore. So it was great that you took the image. Hey, and more images of the building?
I remember now, some years agon I was in Barcelona for vacations. Guess what? I didn't take my gear with me. What a stupid I was!!!
Cheers!
P.S.: OK, OK, please stay in the queue of the many volunteers that would love to eliminate me for that! Don't worry, you gonna shoot too, man! ;-)

Nick, I like your version as well. I found this to be such a wonderful showpiece for the craftsmanship that is missing in the sterile new architecture. Helena and Butte Mt both have some great buildings. This was shot on film and I found a pack of pictures that I had shot up there in 2002. This was one of them. Be well, Stan

I find the green coloring exciting for its unusual looks on the architectural shot, Stan! The finest details that you captured and the special lighting added charm and interest too. I think a less centered composition would make it better. Also, I rotated it a bit for bringing the tower to the vertical - attachment. It looks somewhat better to me if rotated.
Cheers and all the best!
Nick
