Thanks so much Brigitte, I took this at Boulder Hot springs in Sept. This is a runoff from the main springs that are used at the resort. The warm creek had some great algae and other plants with some great mineralization in the water. I have always been a lover of hot springs and the areas around them. Good to hear from you!!

What an interesting place and made for a very effective image, almost an abstract as you have categorized it. The colors, details and the nice side-lighting are very pleasant. Actually, looking at the thumbprint, I thought this might have been a fall landscape scene! ;-) This looks like it could have been photographed on Mars... very, very interesting. Must have been neat to walk here in person! :-) Always, the best to you and your family... Brigitte
