Thanks Tony, I have a Canon Rebel and have not shot enough high ISO to really know the noise level. I try some at 800,1600 and compare. Also might try some film with my OM2, light and compact. Thanks again, fun to try new things. You are great for the help. Be well, Stan

Thanks Tony, I appreciate the info. I am a landscape photographer gone bad. Trying a lot of deferent venues and approaches. Worst I can do is learn from not so good shots. Have a couple of lenses to try. If it is good I will put some up for your critiques. I can handle the truth. Thanks for the reply. Be well, Stan

I just checked this photo out and it was in fact taken with my +istD Pentax-lighter and less noise at high Iso than the K10. Anyway, this was shot at 3.200 1/125 f 6.7....if that helps!

Thanks for commenting Stan and good luck with the concert tonight.I set ISO 800 and let the camera determine the rest using the SAV function on the Pentax K10.Just keep checking the LCD and watch out for blown highlights. If you are a distance from the stage it's worth trying the camera's flash.

Nice capture of the blues man in action. Any idea of the shutter speed. I am shooting some music tonight and was going to do it with out flash and see what kind of luck I might have. Thanks and have a good one, be well, Stan
