The eyes go to the feathers and the patterns on them is perfect!And the contrasting cobalt blue adds the necessary accent to maintain balance! A beautiful capture, Dave!

Wonderful Dave. The colors are really vibrant. Peacock is the national bird of India (my country). I know it is not easy to capture so much detail and colors of this bird when it spreads its wings. You have done that very well.

Impressive shot... very impressive bird of course BUT ALL THE MONEY here is on the focus, how on earth do you focus bothly on the bird's head AND its impeessive tail BOTHLY so well????? MY COMPLEMENTS SIR! that is very importante here, of couse the face was the main target BUT we need to see these amazing and beautiful feathers at the back and so the focus here adds for me... into my favorites because of the quality of your work Dave!

And thanks heavens you showed as him showing his colors, Dave! I find the degree of details excellent under those bright and strong coloring! Still the composition is perfect too! The own feathers were the perfect background for the portrait of the blue "face". Perhaps only a slightly different angle for allowing the bottom to have some more integrity - which I guess is also a matter of luck when the bird simply stands as it likes.
Again great photography of wildlife!
