This one looks "right" considering orientation/levelling, and it also keeps the general atmosphere, but for some strange reason to a lesser extend than the colored one. The rather strong contrast of the hues of the stone construction against the sky, and the strong "redness" of the background are gone. But for this the B&W brought a much stronger sence of a documentary. It looks now much more like a documentation of "what has been".
