About A very small vase set down on my tile floor. Lens reversed with a Nikon BR-2A and a shutter speed of 1/60 so I could do the shot without a tripod. Window lighting -- no additional lighting attempts made.

only 3 views...goodness, i like the old usefilm so much more.

thank you both for your comments though. marek, the photo was certainly not overexposed and it isn't pale on the two monitors i've used...it's flat in contrast because that's how i intended it to be -- i wanted very rich blacks and not a lot of definition. on my laptop screen and this monitor, it looks how i wanted it to look.

Has a great feel to it, I think Fabio labelled it well as Kafkaesque. But Im bothered by the paleness (on this monitor anyway) looks like there was very little contrast fore-background and its been overexposed to compensate. Could be this monitor though - Im not at home.
