Yes, I know how those Cokin filters are. This original looks quite cyan also. The original posted version is quite beautiful, and I'll be the print is wonderful. I know from experience how tricky color balance can be.:)

Shirley, I'll attach the original unedited. It was taken through an ND filter which is not that neutral (a problem with the Cokin series.) I did not use a grey card for colour balance because the exposure was intended for B&W. I have various edit samples on file with some neutralizing the water. I chose a slight blue/cyan cast for the highlights after a lot of trial and error. But after a while one's eyes adapt and deceive, so it is good to get your opinion. A print I made on art paper looks gorgeous. Therefore, I suspect the blue you see on the monitor has been intensified as a result of compressing the colour space from ProPhoto RGB to sRGB for the web. That can be a problem because some of the ProPhoto colours may be out of gamut for plain sRGB. I know the original is dark but it is optimum for the dynamic range which I captured in the four exposures. Eb

Well, I'd have to see what the original looked like to make a good judgment.

Yes Shirley there is a blue or cyan cast to the highlights - which I did add deliberately. Do you think it is a mistake? Eb

Very moody and lovely, Eb. Seems to have a slight blue cast overall.

A very moody and atmospheric shot, Eb! I like your composition and perspective here, too. Dave.
