I appreciate your point about pure white. There are two small patches of nearly pure white, some of the caulking on the bottom of the window, and in the area just above the electrical box. But that doesn't quite make it. My difficulty with this negative is printing the paint as white as possible while retaining the paint's texture. In my printings of this image I can (for my eyes) only get away with a little brighter than what you see here. I just did some Photoshoping to make a whiter white, and to me the texture of the wall is harshened. Others may well like this better.

Love the graphic appeal.....good composition...my only suggestion is the contrast....I would like to see a "white-white" somewhere in it. Perhaps in the scanning and processing of the image, it was degraded. Good work, Britt.

well, another G2 user can't be all bad. I like your spare style. This one is overexposed a bit, in bright sunlight like this it's difficult to compensate for the contrast. I think this may work better if shot on a day with a little more filtered light, you'll get richer tones.
