I couldn't really decide which category to put this in. It's not exactly nature, and it's not exactly landscape. So I had to think about what this photo really is to me; to me it's a portrait. It's a portrait of a dying way of life. A farewell of sorts, to generations gone by.
Another excellent portrayal of the human condition. yes, times gone by -- our fishermen are suffering hardships in Canada too. Many of the boats sitting idle and rotting. Are these fishing boats, though? We still have plenty of activity in the 'sail boat' and pleasure craft area.
Your photo is an excellent composition. Perhaps a tad more contrast and I wee wish for more luminosity in the whites. Great moody sky.
