Hi Fred,
I agree with GP about the levels, but other than that this photo is great. I am assuming that this was taken after he suspended, which is one of my favorite times to capture the emotions of a subject who is suspending. There's something about it that really captures the emotion of the moment.

An excellent "portrait" from your series, this one really conveys the most to me so far... The meditative expression, the detail, the composition... all work terrifically here... The only thing I might play with would be the tonal "levels," adjusting for a greater range to bring a more saturated feel to the lights and darks, which would give more depth to the tattoos, while leaving his head exposure as it is. Just minor tweaks to this outstanding and powerful image... Great job, Fred.
