Love the black and white, and actually I think the composition works as is. You have a real sense of the decay in these kinds of places. Very nice work.

This is beautiful, Janet... it has the feel of a Walker Evans photograph about it. Classic and timeless. My only suggestion for an improvement would be that you had included more of the pavement at the bottom of the frame... I think it feels a little uneven as it is.
