I assure you that no insects were scared in the making of this photograph. :) :)
After seeing your results with your Sigma macro lens, I am going to keep my eye open in the future to pick one up.
I use Kenko tubes on standard Canon lenses for my macro work with the DSLR but the results are not as good as I would like for sharpness and convenience.

Nice! Looks like a snow-star in...ball version. The 3D feeling is pretty strong on that and so the clarity that gives the idea of crystal.
