Really nice light on this, Doyle, adding to the wonderful design captured by good composition. I like the tones here, seemingly burned but realistically just caused by "grime".
Best trails to you, bro, Dave

How wonderful Doyle...:)))
Love the cleverness created by the artist, how it has a true sense of movement, but held tight by the star...:)))
Well seen Sir...:)))

Another great critique son! Just so you know, I had to climb 8 to 10 steps up the staircase to get this shot (and only took one rest stop on the trip)! Son . . . you truly do seem to get the idea of the critique down well!

Great shot taken! I'm shocked you got most of that in the same photo haha. This is such a clear picture. From the angle you took the photo from you successfully managed to show the specific details like overall the entire design on the floor is obviously a star. What I enjoy most about this picture is that the design itself is the focus of the picture, yet you managed to fit in "Continental Park" without losing the focus point of the shot.

Thanks Robin. I just saw those goofy white triangles too late. Gum(?) was a good point too. Hitting the train station between trains and without a crowd . . . I thought this would be a unique view . . . particularly since the couple of people there were not standing on it . . . and while I won't pick up the gum . . . I might be inclined to colne it.
Oh well, back to the drawing board!! :)

Rich color and well seen Doyle...nice job with the exposure! Couple of nit-picks, I know...so unlike me...upper and lower right corners, and the wad of gum(?) some bonehead spit on the "ribbon". Nicely presented my friend!
Take care...Robin

Yes, same with the D70s, but I always plan to crop off-camera so usually "over-shoot" anyway.

By the way John . . . The D200 seems to have more image in the file than is visible in the viewfinder. Is that your experience with the D70S too?

Well John . . . It only takes SOME to be concentric, right? No idea WHO came up with this but better, I suspect, than RAW materials (at least for me)! The triangles you refer to were the subject of a LOT of griping to Marlyce when I spotted them too late. The design continued but I thought the in-camera crop removed them. ARRRRGH! The design is under the commuter train in deep shade and the right is BRIGHT sunlight. Had I known, I would have cloned them.

They're circles, but they're not concentric (not all of them, anyway). Never mind, seems the new project (whoever thought this one up?!) got you to take a shot you might not otherwise have thought of - and I like it! The only niggle I can find here is the thin white triangle at top right. Oh, and just spotted a fainter one at bottom right...

Dear Doyle I especially like the colours in this one and of course weird as I am the distant areas with the brownish white blended with each other. I´d like to see that up close:-)It looks Leonardo da Vinciinspired - that special background. Take care Annemette

Doyle -- The only thing I ever find on the sidewalk is gum that sticks to my shoe. You take a walk and find art work in cement. You must have good Karma. Well done for the project and I like the geometry and texture. --Best to you, Jan
