Are you kidding me??? *dab dab*...laughing so hard I'm crying, seriously...my freakin' cheeks hurt! Now, now even though my crying act was very convincing, I am not the least bit offended. But, I still think you should sleep on the sofa...loveseat...whatever piece of furniture the dog did NOT eat...I'm sure there is something you have done that warrants a night on the couch.
You are off the hook for the rating...it was low before you slamm, er...I mean, commented. Someone else low-balled me...guess they liked it as much as you. ;)
No harm, no foul...there is NOTHING to forgive Doyle.

Ok . . .
First . . . Damn that works! I CAN'T take upsetting women . . . Just not good at it at all.
Second . . . Marlyce is TICKED off at me. Nobody . . . and she said NOBODY likes my humor when it gets out of hand . . . and this, CLEARLY, Did!!! She has also suggested that I apologize and od so now!
Dearest Robin, my sweet, adorable and incredibly talented friend. I sincerely apologize for my misguided humor and my poor analysis of this quality image. And I'm NOT just saying that so I won't have to sleep on the couch either!
Honestly, if it were an oil painting I would love it. As a photo . . . I . . . I-I-I-I like it.
My humor may have been a tad "over the edge" here . . . and Marlyce insists it was completely out of line. Sometimes I tend to over do it.
I will be making an illegal copy and saving it as a desktop BG on my computer at work . . . without paying for it . . . as pennance.
Man . . . I think she's right when I look back at what I said. Maybe I'll jest sleep on the old couch anyway . . . well . . . it's a loveseat regardless of what she says!
Oh! And I NEVER rate low. High rating or nothing . . . so . . . . apparently I've NOTHING to do with the rating here.

Good morning my stunningly attired friend!!
Perhaps you could have called it Blurry in Aging?
My friend, this inspired work of artistry is just not for me. I love the colors . . . sure. Heck - I love them in my crayon box too. This feels more like . . . I dunno . . . a painting? Impressionism? A blurry picture?
I'm guessing my lack of refined taste is showing but I can't seem to find a single focal point to attach my eye too that is clear. Of course . . . this comes from a person that likes to read Disney's Donald Duck comic books . . . so . . . you know . . . they're not going to be calling me to appraise artwork anytime soon. Then again, Donald duck was at least focused (LoL)!
Anyway . . . don't . . . and I know you won't . . . lose a lot of sleep over my thoughts. I suspect I'm just not qualified to give a decent critique to this shot, you know, by me having good taste and all that.
And forget the blurry tears stuff . . . that don't fly this time . . . I'm NOT buying it . . . so don't even think it.....
I see some of the comments: creative, interesting, good contrast, eye catching. ok. I'll give you creative and eye-catching . . . but that would be true if a three year old painted the cat too. ;)
Did I forget to mention how brave you were to go out on a limb, try new things and open yourself up for cruel critiques? Downright DARING!! Especially for somebody who wants honesty from ME! Very brave AND impeccably attired . . . What a combo!

The lensbaby, and how you have used it here, has created a hand painted silk look... I will have to go read up on how, and why, LB work... so that I can understand etc... Am naive on the process other than the visuals Jan. Mel and yourself...:)))

Robin -- Wowee - this is beautiful. I have not been practicing my LB shots the last month or so and I can see you are light years ahead of me in developing technique with the LB. This is so good and the perfect application for our little LB. I like how you shifted the focus to the right and down a bit and then offset the composition. Dynamite.
