Love this Robin... Such a beautiful face lost in the realms of peaceful dreams... The tones and light are wonderful and soft as befits a child...
LOL Have just read the parenting woes...
... and remembering long car trips with the kids and *She's looking at me* and *Mummmmmm!!! He's got his hand near my side* ... They were pretty good when all said and done... They slept a lot LOL...
Thinking good thoughts and huge HUGS for you each day... :)
Onie...

Uhhhhh . . . oh my! . . . a rant? Twas NOT a rant . . . merely a well thought out comment meant specifically to entertain Robin and others who might enjoy it. Perhaps this is nothing more than a communications barrier. Perhaps by rant you were referring to humorous comment about parenting? There is an old saying that laughter is the best medicine . . . but in some cases, aspirin might be better. :)

Hi GG...thanks for the nice words!
All is well and I'm starting to feel alot better lately...thank God, I am bored to tears! I hope I can get out with my camera soon. Only so many reruns of Andy Griffith I can watch without starting to think I REALLY do live in Mayberry.(only so many lost treasures in the vault too)
Hope all is well with you and the family also! Hugs...Robin

mckueygalojaofjaikeityamvb...cloftrbggjkao!
I woke up this gem of a comment...couldn't have been a better start to the day! Classic DCI and a real pleasure to read...thanks Doyle
Have to tell you though...with portable DVD players and video games, road trips with kids have become almost pleasant...key word, almost...still have to contend with "I GOTTA GO POTTY" and "ARE WE THERRRRRE YET?" 59 times in 400 miles!
:) Robin

This is such a lovely informal child portrait my sweet Robin. The conversion to these beautiful delicate monochromatic tones is excellent. I love the bold crop and the wonderful peaceful expression on this little facw. Well done sweetie, it is great seeing a post from you even if it comes via the vault . Post anything you like but keep posting.
I saw this post on a brief look in last night Robin but I was so tired after my long shift that I've waited until this morning to comment. I am at work again just now commencing production of our smaller magazine but found a few spare moments to get in touch. Great 'seeing' you. My very best wishes to you as always along with loads of hugs..........Take care sweetie, behave and do as you are told .......Ray X;)

Hey Gorgeous. This is cute and yes...very peaceful looking. Ah, sweet slumber! Love the texture of the snuggled toy crushed under him, the soft hair and those dark, dark eyelashes. Nice light and skintones Robin. The vault is throwing out some gems of late. Hope all is well with you, keep smiling Hon, hugs, B xxx

Nothing suggests peace to a parent more than the image of a sleeping child!!!! There is a reason for this . . . and it is that there is NO PEACE when an unhappy screaming child is trying to get a cheese cracker from the clutched fist of his brother from the back seat of a car on a trip of over 400 miles after having been in the car for hours. Screaming, crying and grabbing at the clutched fist will by law of nature require an instinctive response from the cracker holder (who is now fist clutching cracker dust) as he responds in kind with the ear splitting peals of MYYYYYYYYYNNEE!!!!!! Threats of "Don't make me come back there have little effect when you are both driving AND the only adult in the car. Clearly . . . an exit is required . . . Cranky, crying children . . . are the complete OPPOSITE of peace . . . and the reward God provides us for not killing them and leaving them by the road is GRANDCHILDREN!! Wooooo Hooooo! Now when can smile as we send them off with their Mom & Dad . . . spoiled rotten by a kind, caring grandparent. (Ooooops - sidetracked). Anyway - sleeping child . . . Oh YES! That's Peaceful! LoL!
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~
