About Some shots for the water project to show the power of the surf against the rocks. The power is more clearly seen in multiple shots than a single.
These are as shot in raw format, no changes were made other than resize.

Marlyce -- I cannot say I am surprised about your son's tour being extended as you know the situation all too well, no doubt. Back in the late 60's I extended my Vietnam tour by one year but that was so different then. I at least had control over the tour duration and made the decision myself. I will continue to pray for him and wish you and all your family the best.

Thanks AJ for the comment. The reason I showed the smaller shots were to lead to the more dramatic larger. I thought about posting two shots of three, but liked the effect of all 6. These were shot rapid all together and it showed the build up of the wave crashing and then the flow of the water draing back to show the rock. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Thank you Joe. I was very happy of the way the color of the water came out, as I did not want to enhance any effects, etc as it is too hard when the pictures are the same object. Glad you could see the power in this.

Thank you Jan Glad you like the pano. FYI my son's tour in Afghan. has been extended....what a shock. He should have been coming home 15 days, now it is at least 4 more months....Thank you for the prayers.

Great idea to show the same rocks with the waves breaking at different stages. I also like very much the limited range of tones in the whole series. Although the overall effect is very pleasing, I would perhaps question why some are small and some are large. In combined series of shots such as this, I would perhaps expect the smaller images to highlight some specific detail or action.

Excellent panoramic collage Marlyce. Very well presented. You have been very successful in showing the power of the surf. The colour of the water adds nicely to the effect.

Best regards,
Joe

Marlyce -- I love the powerful blue tone and the crisp and powerful images. Very cool way to put them together. It looks so much better when enlarged in the Pano view. Excellent detail and I think you made good choices on image placement. Well done!
--Best to you, Jan
