I know the feeling. It wos a dark period in my country too, but we could buy Praktica cameras with CZJ lens :) and now those lens are great. Anyway the Zorki and Fed cameras ... I really like them. The old fashion way ... I love the mechanically system inside :)
You can preen oneself on the pictures you make with the camera not with the camera. You have very nice pictures there in your portfolio.

Beside Zorki, Kiev, FED I have about a dozen of Zeniths, almost all broken. I remember those times when I felt lucky if I could buy that monster. We couldn’t dream of Nikons in those times. Thank god those times are gone, forever I hope. Val

Great image with the old camera :) I have myself some old russian cameras including Fed 3b, Fed 4 and an ald Lubitel 166B. But I can say I love to use the Fed from time to time.
