About	We have always known this strappy leafed plant as pineapple plant... ~~GRIN~~... whether that is is true common name I have no idea... This plant has been with us for over thirty years, moving four times and now to move again... Long, strappy lime green leaves with deep maroon freckles... and then when it blooms as it is now doing, it produces long spikes of these wonderful, bright flowers... This is he spike before flowering... Always a joy... Macro, curves levels adj, light sharpen and crop...

LOL Robin... :) I had the tri-pod at an odd angle getting this as was hidden in behind a lilac and some lillies... Ants crawling up my leg and in my hair... :)
