Thanks Christian for your very nice comments. If you want to try and correct the optical distortion go right ahead. They have a correction in CS2 but I haven't used it very much. Thanks. Don.

This one has a huge effect. The colour saturation against the jet black night sky emphasizes the punchy composition. It all works very, very well.
It could be worth trying to correct the optical distortion. I have a piece of software that uses automatically a chart combining body and lens, and focal values, to correct this type of distortion. They have this for my combo, D200 + 18-200. I could look and see if they also support de 18-70 (most probably yes) and give it a try, if you allow.
