Thanks... I will holler if I can't sort this thing out. Old equipment... one thing I need is more RAM and other stuff... all techno-babble to me... lol...
Same with my printer and scanner... Having a load of probs with them. They are being "beastly"... never mind. Can't afford to fix nor update...
And my time is limited... I do miss being here amongst my friends though, and now, while the computer IS sort of functioning, I need to go manage a couple of MSN sites.... sigh...

Please do not worry about me. Most of the bushfires are currently more or less "under control" and there is much backburning being carried out as the weather permits...
I wish I had been on vacation... I have never had one... lol! Yes, you heard right... NEVER!

I have been very busy with work and other commitments and also my computer is really playing up. It is old and not in the best of health (like me) ~LOL~

The colour is fantastic Ani! and oddly the coarse cut almost looks like it has been polished with wax.
There is a glow to this little log that indeed gives a feeling of the warmth that it will one day provide (not today, too b*#@&y hot!!).

Seems a shame to burn it really...
Fortunately that will not happen for awhile as we are in summer (not that it means much... we had snow Christmas Day!!!)
Today the temperature indoors as I sit at my computer is 90 degrees F.
Sadly, many wildfires are burning out of control throughout our state and other states of our country. Conditions are becoming worse... we can only pray for rain!
