Thanks Syamantak.

1. The yellow band is the warmth. The tree stands alone in that warmth. I feel the yellow band is actually the strength of the photo. However, it is slightly over prominent, which I have already admitted.

2. the sky is washed out - crop might be a good idea. i would post another shot where it is less contrasty :)

To begin with, thanks a lot Bijit Da for showing us such beautiful images....I feel we are too lucky to have someone like you who can tell us through your photos "Come! Explore this world where we paint with light!!"....Ashadharon chhobi...kintu ekta-duto kotha shahosh kore bolchhi..

1.Ekhane oi ekta gachh shedded tree dariye achhe..thats what perhaps gave rise to your title...kintu pichhone ekta besh bright and wide horizontal yellow band-e chokhta ektu beshi chole jachche and that is why oi bisesh symbol of loneliness tree-ta jeno ekta out of vision hoye jachche..

2. I agree with Sandip on the white part...can it be cropped?

Thanks Sandip for item 2 :) - you are the first person to give that.

The yellow hue is 'as I saw it'. But I think it has been accentuated while I tried to bring back some depth by increasing the constrast (as I felt the photo was originally too dreamy to be appreciated - it would be like appreciating a Van Gogh painting after a new year booze party), and the totally blown out sky is also a result of that. Ok, I would share a less contrasty one later for you and all to decide.

Dark patch in foreground - not much to say but just that monitors are not communists :)

Title positioning - absolutely my fault and foolishness, I fully agree.

WONDERFULL !! excellant composition.

1. It's a beautiful shot .. what makes this pic grt is the yellow band and the perfect balance crated by that single burnt tree (shoot !?) ... fantastic composition .. good use of depth too ...
the haze creates the painting effect ...

2. What i don't like in this pic are, the bright white patch in top ... the overall yellow cast .. which is a bit too much imo (even to depict warmth) .. a bit milder hue (with enhanced green may be).. would have suited me more .. .. the dark patch in fg ... and the big white "alone with three dots" ... don't get me wrong but somehow the title lettering in the border is disturbing .. atleast for this "deep" a picture ...

finally ... keep them coming !!! HNY ....

absolutely fantastic.looks like a painting.

Thanks Rishi. I have tried to use flare, which is generally a bad thing and reduces depth, to good effect in my photo - sometimes, not seeing many things makes the vision more dreamy. Few more to come...

Thanks Peter for your valued comment - that was what I wanted to capture - the warm yellow tint which kind of paintbrushes the surrounding, while the burnt tree stands tall and alone in the photo, distinct.
