I completely agree with you Robin! Jan's right, though I did give him a hard time for not pointing out the BG shadow of his lil head! :) But, as I've said . . . the expression (IMO) overcomes the tech issues (enough for me) . . . Thanks for the friendship in 2oo6 . . . it was valuable to me! :)

You're right, of course . . . though you failed to mention the distracting BG shadow on the back of the couch! LoL! How oh how can I improve if you don't point out things like that?? Heheheheee . . .
I had this toy as a kid and we used real potatoes! My kids had the plastic ones . . . his was a Giant Pirate potatohead with 5 different sized ones inside! I think toys we love as kids, like army men and Lincoln Logs, Tinker Toys and Erector sets . . . survive because parents want to give their kids the same joy they experienced. It's a nice thought anyway. Anyway . . . it was the expression I wanted here . . . and THAT I got! :)

Thanks Michele . . . I love the shot for a variety of reasons . . . at One year of age, a child may do anything with a gift . . . even toss it away if it's not to their liking. Pure honesty. And this was the reaction from the Pirate Potatohead Marlyce and I gave him! Inside were 5 more potatoheads and that was IT once he had it . . . (Naturally, we were thrilled!!) And though I was less than happy he was so close to the leather backed couch it caused a shadow . . . as you mention . . . the expression was priceless!
