Hi aLi, your right on about the cost of film vs. digital. To control costs I am currently limiting my film usage to medium format and when I have the film developed I do not print proofs but I do have them scanned onto a CDROM. By not printing I cut the cost in half. In addition to the Mamiya I have a Holga which uses 120 film.
The photographs in this series, all titled Avalon, are the beginning of a project to film the Avalon Park and Preserve. The park and preserve capture me and I thought it would be a good project. All of the photographs in the final showing will be from film, either the Mamiya or the Holga. Cheers,

Hi Bob Kelly, It's quite a while that I'm trying to re-enter the world of film photography.( mostly because of the great quality B/W film shots have),but it just seems impossible for me, I don't know if it's the high costs of film photography or just the ease of working with digital cameras that's holding me back from the film world. It's only 2 years that I'm doing digital photography but i've got accustomed to it so much. anyway good luck for you with the great Mamiya you now own.
Thank you aLi Naghizadeh, I appreciate your comments. I have recently re-discovered film after purchasing a Mamiya C330 from by brother-in-law. I shoot mostly digital however the 6x6 format and film work well in landscape. Thanks again,
