About I had no idea what to call this image. Wide Brim it is. I guess the hat is the only reason for this.
I cropped the image into a panoramic format as I wanted to really highlight this lady's facial expression.
Shot under natural light outdoors.

Yes, Dear Shirley.. it is frustrating... I am thinking hard... I believe it might be my error... I often have probs with my scanner, but as this was a fairly large image out of which I cropped a small detail, perhaps my resolution setting was not high enough... it is possible. I rarely cut "postage stamps" (lol) from such large images. I might have a go at it again using a better resolution and see if that comes up sharper when posted here. :)

Thank you again Dear Shirley and Hugs~
Aniko :)

Well, that is frustrating. I do wish I could see the original, but I still like this very much.:)

Oh Dear Shirley... thank you!

It IS sharper to begin with.. lol... I noticed the sharpening here is NOT sharp enough. The original is pin sharp.... and it looked almost overly sharp when I had cropped it etc in PS!!! Go figure! LOL!

I am still not sure which version I prefer... the panaramic one or the tigher crop I posted... (By the way, the tighter crop I did sharpen a tad more in PS, and still it doesn't look quite sharp enough. AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!) ROFLOL!

Always your comments and interest are so very appreciated my friend!

Much Love,
Aniko :)

A lovely image, dear Aniko...do wish it had been sharper to begin with, though.

Hi Dave!

Thank you my friend.

I still can't decide if the tighter crop is better... lol...

Indeed this woman has a certain something about her. I have made many images of her and find myself going back to them to rework some.

I'm glad you like what I've done with this, Dave, and appreciate your kind comments.

Best Wishes to you!
Aniko :)

Yes Aniko, the look is very intense and emotive, deep in her transparent eyes. But I love also the composition, the angle and the movement. Beautiful for me.
Take care.

Giuseppe

On second thoughts, i actually think the composition is better here with a tigher crop...
lol... I can never make up my mind!
