I wonder how it would look like on a harder paper. More contrast could make us have some white tone. Maybe it's just because of my monitor but it looks like as if the paper has stayed too much in developer. Other than that it's an excellent pose. Another idea, you could use a reflector down under the book to define the edges of its cover. The rest is too beautiful. Compliments.

I love this. excellent effect if you were going for "contemplation" or the like! i love the lighting effect also! very good.

Welcome to Usefilm. Nice shot.
The pose is good but its difficult to tell if her eyes are open or not (is she having a snooze? LOL:)
I like the darkness, though there are ways to still get detail in the very shadowed areas, which I think would really help - there's lots of good portrait photogs on here that can give you lighting tips for that - I'm definitely not one of them, but you asked for opinions, so I hope even my amateur one will help!
