Cathy,
What an excellent shot. I like the self portrait types where you, the photographer, are seen secondhand. This is a very good example of this type of photography!

Thankyou Braden, for your interest. This object is approximately one inch in diameter, like a large marble.
Different perspectives are exciting aren't they, and particularly excitng for me when they are round. CC

I love your self portrait. Are you going to include it in your usefilm profile?

The colours are sensational. The copper contrasts beautifully with the depth of blue. Such a lovely reflection - a picture within a picture. The sun seems to be giving it's seal of approval with a kiss!

ciao A

that's a sick shot. lovely colors.

about the dog picture: it was the first time i saw that dog. i was walking next to it and i said "what up dog" and it looked to me that way. i just loved it. in the larger file i can see myself perfectly. thank you for commenting

Great color saturation, I like the tree branches as they arch across the top.

It was really a pleasure reading your comments on my shots. Its hard for me to put into words the joy I feel when I read comments on my work. Being that I have such limited time to 'play' photographer, with a busy job and busy homelife...I consider myself a weekend shutterbug. Thank you so much for your kind words, Usefilm is so great that it can bring joy from halfway around the world.
Best regards,
Bill

Nice work, dear Cathy. The reflection in a windchime creates amazing self portrait incorporating blurred details of your backyard. The black background strenghtens the image. Well done to you.

Kind regards,
Virgis

Hello Cathy, nice to see you here and good to hear from you. Been on vacation and was planning on seeing what you were up to.

Nice windchime and I can't imagine how you cannot shoot it without having a self portrait.

You might want to change the category, though. Deep Blue is for underwater sea photos, I think. Of course, the last time I suggested something like that to a photographer, I was chastised and corrected. So, if you really were scuba diving when you took this, my apologies. :)

Best wishes
Dave

Good one cathy.
Re my water pic.You need a slow shutter speed and small aperture Say 1 sec @f16.make a background layer and add some motion blur. Add a layer mask and paint some of it out. Sorry cathy this is assuming you hav photoshop or similar. If not just try the slow shutter speed and small apperture.... all on a tripod.
Danny.
