Beautifully converted to these lovely mono tones my dear Shirley. I love the speed and motion blur in the wheel and the silky look to the water as it cascades through onto the rocks. Wonderful details and textures in this wonderful composition with it's excellent clarity. A truely lovely piece of work of excellent composure sweetie. Very best wishes....Ray

Fantastic speed use! I too would love to see the top of the wheel but regardless this has fantatic lighting and the b/w tones are complimenting to your frothy water currents. Well done!

Thank you, dear Doyle! I would have liked 'more', too, but at the time, my widest angle lens was 35mm and this was all I could get in.:)

Awesome use of slow shutter speed here Shirley. VERY good lighting and tonal range. All around impressive work. The clarity of the foliage leads me to believe there was little or no breeze.
On the critique side, my friend . . . the fact that this is such a well taken capture makes me yearn for a bit more of the image. I think (personal opinion now - your results may vary) that I wish there was MORE to see . . . like the top of the spinning wheel . . . and, now that I'm on the 'I want more' topic . . . I'd like to see a lower bottom crop as well. The increased top and bottom would (in my amateur opinion) really add some more impact to what is clearly a very good shot already.
This is wonderful work Shirley!
:)
