Always love to see dragonflys, they are very rare where I live. This is very nice. Love the clarity so I can really see the wings, face and even the hair like body. Nicely captured.

I shot this one with my 300mm lens, and from about one meter distance, hoping he wasn't flying away, but he didn't. My camera resting on a gardenchair to provide any movement, cause with 300mm the movement is 300mm too, but it worked out fine. Maybe he was laughing, he ofcourse would look good on this photo. LOL. I'm not proud Mary, but happy while it became what I hoped it would. I´m glad you like it, and that made me a bit proud.

Riny......... thanks for your very kind support on this, as you call it juwel. Inderdaad, ik heb hem hierna direct doorgestuurd naar jouw, en jouw telepatische gaven deden de rest. Hij bleef behoorlijk lang zitten, anders was ik te laat geweest, want m'n camera lag boven.
