About I just found this shot when looking through some photos from a trip of a few years ago.

I was struck by the sharpness of the father and the wistful looking, slightly out of focus daughter. It's as if she is communicating the her feelings of the life that is likely before her as she watches the foreigners walk past.

Nothing wrong with the crop Bob, I was just curious as to what he was doing.

All the best,

Not a pelt, but the back of a small heifer. Unfortunately there was some assorted 'junk' in the way and I had to crop high.

I'd like to crop higher but I think that would cramp his face and her hand.

Thanks for the feedback.

I like the expression on the girl’s face. Her eyes are also very powerful and catching. Her father adds incredible depth to the pictures. Really impressive shot

Great shot Bob.

I believe you are completely correct in your observations and have captured a special moment here with this image. The difference in age and expressions certainly says a lot.

What was the father doing? Looks to be a pelt of some sort in the area between the two of them.

Al the best,
Ed
