Glad to hear you are returning to Nebr. We had a little skiff of rain so it's not quite as dry as this desert. Better bring a coat tho as it is not as warm here as AZ. Only 79 here at noon. We will try to pump the temps up for you. :-) Cheers! Larry

Hi Hugo, I was shooting almost into the sun with this picture so the polarizer did not do much good. I have tried to saturate the sky but it begins to look funky so had to stop with this. Come on over next fall Hugo. I am leaving Az for Nebraska this week. Spend the summer where it is less hot. Been well over 100 degrees for some time now here in Az. Thanks for looking and commenting. Don.

Hi Don,
The US treasures such a fantastic landscape! I like how the rocks in the foreground create a good prelude to the overview of Monument valley; good composition.
Strangely enough, I don't quite make out the used polariser; the tones do seem a bit flat, and a little boost in saturation wouldn't hurt, IMO. Nevertheless, I'm still fond of your landscapes, they only increase my desire to travel... Good stuff.
Cheers,
Hugo

You are teasing me, aren't you Don. I keep thinking "road trip".
Nice view with good foreground. Dramatic clouds! The only suggestion I would make is to burn those background mountains to take away the haze.
Best wishes, Dave
