I love this version Don for the greater impact with the details and textures. The colours also look so much richer than the first one. Well done on this very lovely detailed composition.

This looks so much like a painting. It's a lovely view with an interesting and fitting frame. The little bit of shadow is good too.

Don - your first post of this shot looks like a "before" and this one looks like an "after the rain has blessed us." It does tend to wash things sparkly clear and crisp. Seriously, I do like what you do to this one. Very Arizona (even without a sahuaro) and the frame "fits" the spikey cacti and desert vegitation perfectly. Been super busy - quilting, travel, taxes, etc. - and not doing much with my camera lately. Going to get it in gear here shortly! LOL Jan

Stunning. I like it with the hills moved down in brightness. I think the cholla seduced me into thinking it was oversharpened. Good post.
