Thank you! :) I love that you always see the toehr side things! Helps so much, cause I just get *way* into the image I shot, and have a tough time breaking away from all of the detail. I like the crop you did.. ...but i miss that harbor water :(

Fabulous moody shot!! The sun 'bursting' through the clouds is wonderful as are the tones, great reflections and view... well captured!! Good composition... but I would've cropped (you know I love to... ;-D)... not to get the 'eye in the sky' more off-centre, but to get rid of the 'cluttered' rooftop on the left... Thrown in an attachment so you can see what I mean...

Hi Joel, Some spectacular lighting effect here; An amazing sight, but IMO, there's too much peripheral distractions around. The golden glow over the horizon, and the almost divine rays of light behind the sky scraper are spectacular... Would qualify for an extreme portrait format, removing the pheripherals. It would emphasise the magnificent light. Per attached the crop I have in mind, maybe a bit extreme, but I think it works wnicely; I also took the liberty of creating a rather bold frame around it; one could argue it's excessive, but I feel it does justice to the dramatic sky without becoming too intrusive... Curious what you think... (Can't imagine your wife arguing the same thing this time...:))
