Hey, I love it. I feel like I scammed my way into a magical world I didn't pay to see, and I'd feel cheated out of that fall to the far left in Jasons crop.

Beautiful shot Sam, colours and the motion are great in this shot. I can understand James point of view as well as mum's(Jan), what james is basically saying is that the shot is unbalanced and the large waterfall looks out of place in this shot. Saying that as a large print on a wall it may have the opposite effect of giving you that wow factor that Jan is talking about.
Looking at it again a crop taking out the far left waterfall works well an balances the shot nicely

Good comments already given. I do like this one much better than the other.

Nice job!

Have to disagree with James - the composition on this is super and the shot is balanced. The fall to the right is larger - and the one on the bottom just to the left of center is just a little smaller in size. The two back waterfalls are smaller and combined with the one at the bottom, just left of center, provide the balance this shot needs. The details and clarity are outstanding. Colors are sharp and the entire shot has a lush tropical feel to it. The pano "knocks your socks off" and all sort of other details in the shot jump out at you - like other little tiny falls that you miss in the smaller view! Well done! Hint, hint I would really like to hang this one on my wall.

Oops, I meant to say, intrusion from the left.

Nice tones and nice convergence of the separate falls. Almost too much, though for my taste. Maybe if you had cropped out the right most fall? It seems that the 3 on the right are all leading in the same general direction and then all of the sudden there's this opposing intrusion from the right.

It's a nice shot overall...I just think some cropping would give you a more balanced image.

I do like it, though!
