Its been raining here for the last week so not been out with my camera. I've been digging out my old negatives and rediscovered this one. Cwm Maethlon in welsh means Happy Valley. This was one of my first attempts with a film camera (olympus om10 with 28mm prime) using slide (velvia)
A nice shot, Howie, showing the winter browns and greens well. I like the way you've included the foreground rocks on the right. Your translation has gone a bit awry, though, in my part of Wales maethlon means nutritious! Hwyl fawr, Gary
Fantastic use of colors as well as light-and-shade in the same picture ! Dear Howie, my only suggestion is the two big boulders on the right are slightly out of focus and are disturbing the balance of the pic. I took a bit of liberty and cropped this a bit, so that the centre of attraction of this picture comes out stronger !
