About	This is a result from my first attempt at candlelight photography. A friend wanted me to take pictures of her and we decided to try something different. I learned a lot from that session. The main thing was to have her wear something other than black. I think the next time we try, I'll get some better results. But if you don't try, I guess you'll never learn ...

The softness of the picture was not completely intentional. Much of that comes from a low quality scanner.

Overall, the exposure is good, but the image is very soft. Was this intentional?

I think it's lovely. Maybe you should hve put more candles -out af the scene- that would define the borders of her body I guess, anyway it worked with me. I like the composition...
