At last week I told my friend, this is the place, where is impossible to make any new photos, no any new perspective, our job here is over, this tower is "overexposed" :-))

And now I find your photo.

My conversation at last week was a mistake... Thanks for it!

What a great shot. The perspective is quite amazing, especially considering the height of the tower. It's quite unusual to opt for the horizontal composition, but it really works very well. The tones are also wonderful. Excellent shot. Congratulations on being the Editor's Choice. Very deserved.

Regards.

This is my favourite photo on usefilm.com. The landscape format and the perspective. I used to live in Paris and have photographed the Eiffel tower many times, but this photo evokes for me the majesty of the structure which is something you can only appreciate by standing under it and looking up. It truly is an incredible piece of architecture and this photo does it justice where countless millions of trite holiday snaps have failed.

wow, not to sound redundant, but it truly is great. i really like the fact that its a horizontal composition instead of vertical, which one would expect for the eiffel tower. the floodlighting, toning, and sky enhance the tower quite well; excellent composition.

I'll second the "great photo" comment. I think it is not only the perspective, but especially the horizontal format that really makes this stand out from other Eiffel tower photos.
