Now this is what I call a FANCY water tower, Don! Colorful and well captured.
To brush or not to brush: that is the question. I think a different brush would have been better. Actually, I'm thinking that this technique would be better on a floral or landscape, and that perhaps a straight framing would be better for the water tower!
But.......we all have different opinions! :)
Good job, Lori :)

Yes we do need water. Been raining a lot here. Too much to go out and photograph but it's nice to have everything green. Excellent image and composition on this one.

Ooooooooooooooh would love to get my hands (well ehm read camera.. ;-D) on this one!!! Fantastic colors, would've loved to see it more 'up-close'... but maybe that's not possible... The effect is a bit 'over the top' for my liking and you went over the tower a couple of times which I think is a shame... sorry... Maybe you can: 'Go back Jack (read Don... ;-D) and do it again...' LOL!!!

That's a very unusual water tower, Don. Looks like a hot-air balloon on a golf tee. I like the brush effects and framing. Very effective. Unusual, like the subject. Cheers, Ann.

Hey Don, does the color help deflect tornadoes? I to must admit thats the most colorful water tower I've ever seen. Ours is standard silver. I'm not sure but I don't think I like the brush treatment. Cheers - JB

That's the most colourful water tower I've seen, Don! A very good, clear capture, and your framing effects enhance the image very well. Dave.
