About Okay...I think this may be a first, for me anyway. This Panorama was taken at 6-03am and covers a full 360 degree range. You may see on the far edges a repeat of one of the machinery plants where the edges overlap. Combining 11 handheld images, manually stitched in CS2. I used the AE lock to hold the same exposure settings and converted them from RAW.

Details as follows -

- 11 images
- JPEG size 49.067mb
- Pixel Dimension 25,050 x 2,596
- Size 4.24meters(14 feet) x .44meters(1.5 feet)
- Total Pixels 65,029,800
- ISO 400
- Aperture 7.1
- Shutter 1/60

Obviously I have reduced it right down for the web...but the large one will probably be printed and I can say that it shows incredible details.

Judi, t his is a great start of a new project. I was told after my first pano post to take the pictures verticle and you will come up with a larger picture and sure enough it works. You have the right idea to lock the exposure as if you don't it can create lots of problems. Keep up the great work. Don.

I really enjoyed exploring this one. Even on my new widescreen I had to scroll for miles to take it all in... Perhaps still a few minor stitching issues but I like the result.

Great pano, Judi! All that work was certainly worth it! Thanks for the details you used to record the scene.
It's a great scenic shot with that dramatic, threatening sky!
Dave.

an impressive panoramic view: i like this kind of shot,I've tried frequently to do similar photos, but i'd never did more than 6 shot: here you take 11 images to complete the panorama, a really hard job..
congratulations Judi..

nice stitching work, though i see some seems still...but overall it is a great scenery and the crop works really well. The line of the horizon is on the good height and the clouds help to give the picture a nice atmosphere. Well done and keep up the good work!
