Vlad, I wanted it dark. During the daylight hours you see many gazebos...but how many are captured at night? I felt this threw off some really unusual feelings by viewing it in restricted low light. It makes people look at them differently especially with the red glow above it and the light coming in from one side only.

Manu...I haven't altered the colours. I only slightly adjusted the curves, so the colours you see are what was there. There was a big light on the right hand side of the gazebo. You can view this light pole in one of my waterfall images. That is the light that is washing over the grass. The red hues in the sky are the city as we were actually within the city so of course there is a heavy saturation of colour at that range. I am pleased you liked it all the same.

Great composition Judi and well seen. The colors appear to sit a little awkward to me. They are neither verging on abstract or very natural.The greens seem a bit washed out whilst the sky or lights from Toowoomba, look a little over worked.
By I still like the lighting on the subject in the center. Just a few comments for you Judi..Yhis is one of the problems with critiques, one doesn't know what to comment against. You may have wanted to create exactly this result. I'll stop now. Hear from you soon.

Thankyou Elisa. It was very hard taking this shot. I had to work quickly before Ricco disappeared into the darkness ahead of me with his camera and couldn't see very well myself. So I was pleased with how it turned out. This was the only shot I got of it. I did get another shot but zoomed right in, so it didn't have this lighting area.
