Hello Greg. I really like this portrait. Because you've included the window in the frame the nostalgic look on her face is put into context. There is a calmness about her that is no so much sad but pensive, as your title suggests. The glare from the window adds a dreamy feel to the composition.

These are awesome portraits. Very expressive - but natural, not overly posed. I love the way you put the subjects right up against the window. I have some big windows in my house, but all I've ever tried to do is use the light from them, and keep them concealed. (Because that's what everyone does) But not you! I might fool around a bit now with this concept. It's winter and I've been feeling very unmotivated. I like your gallery here. I'll look at it more this weekend. Right now I'm going to pour myself a glass of wine and sit back and look at my windows! Good stuff Greg!!!!
