my friend i came to view this image and add what i feel about it .Perfect composition here and very beautiful expouser ,colors and amazing depth of field .many would have not exposed this image correctly specially the trees on the niddle ,you did it in a best form , all of the best my friend ..

Hi Dave,
As I traveled around B.C. Yukon and Alberta I was constantly impressed with the conservation that these industrious little guys created. The patterns and terraced landscapes turned into beautiful wet lands used by so many other animals, and very apparent by the constant activity in the surrounding these areas. Unfortunately they bang up again the wants and seeming needs of humans which generally have little regard for these amazing creatures. These little fellows really maintain ground saturation in areas that normally are very dry....and lifeless....a good place for another car lot?? Or a good place for fantastic diversity in wildlife.

It's amazing what they can do, isn't it? We have lots of that here, too, sometimes very destructive, but interesting nonetheless.
Excellent capture of the scene, too, Tim, with the lighting and great colour. I especially like the DOF in your shots, where everything is crystal clear, from front to back.

Yes it might be a little off level and as to the colors it was like that for the most part. Although i did adjust it with Levels in photoshop somewhat

i love the colors and contrast! i have to ask though, did you enhance the colors digitally or was it really that beautiful? the only thing i noticed is that at first glance it looks as though the camera wasn't completely level, but maybe that's just because of how the trees on the right are leaning or the angle of the banks...very nice though!
