Hello Martin, wow! it has been a while since i have seen a comment longer than one sentence, thank you for taking the time to express yourself. Firstt to the table I have a number of pictures here on uf and you are absoultely the first to pick up on this perticular kind of imperfection in my pictures, granted that this time it was a little more drastic and stands out a little more. I do this to see if my pictures are really looked at or just glanced over, and it brings the eye to whole picture and not just the focal points. The solid black background was achieved by having the only light on in my kitchen an overhead hanging lamp and a fast shutter speed. I really can't say more about this partiicular shot because it was more or less find my camera throw the lens on and set the camera to aperture priority and shoot, no time for setting up the shot. Thanks for the interest in the shot and you can look at more of my commisioned work at www.deleonphotography.de/
Of course she knows how to push your buttons, as she is your little girl and she is a female. It's amazing that they learn so young... lol
I love the macro effect, as well as the shadows and highlights. The black background is wonderful. The clairity of the hand and softness of the foot is awesome, not to mention the tones and textures. I also think the lighting is 2nd to none...
The only thing that bugs me is the middle of the table is clear, while the front and back are soft? You might think about softening the middle. Just a thought.
My Hat is Off to You my Friend,
Martin
PS. Any information you would share about this capture would be great, so that I might learn and grow?
