Hi Riny, thanks for the comment! This was just after we had a good snowfall last month, but since then it's been very unseasonably warm and we haven't had snow since! I'm glad I got a chance to get out then to get the shot.

Your title sums up the shot nicely. Very calm and peaceful scene covered in nice fresh clean snow and captures the mood by having it in B/W. I wish I could be more creative like you. I have hit a wall with my shooting skills these days. Well done buddy.

Indeed, peaceful/soothing is the word that comes to mind when you look at this picture. Very interesting. Sir, was this taken at post-afternoon time? Coz I am captivated by the black shading on one side of the trees. The bench is the component that adds to the value of the pic to ten times it's original(center one).

looks like more than a few cm of snow.
