About	I decided to try to make a good looking image of a simple apple. Just and apple and light. I placed that apple on green poster board, used one lamp on the left, white reflector on the right and hard poster board as a shade to create darker background. I also underexposed picture one stop to create mood. Here is the result. Please let me know what you think. In the editor i only cropped, resized and saved as jpeg.

An apple is a live subject and here you represented it as dead......please revisit this image and show the potential pleasure and life of this subject...
Grace post your Slinky or Toni Martin show your jelly beans....this is a LIVE VIBRANT object that you missed .....get this one nailed; you missed it here...Nice attempt but you missed the reality of the subject here.

Very well done.Good choice of bg colour and good modelling of the apple.The dry leaf adds interest.The right half is little to dark and the margin between light and dark halves could have been a little more gradual.Overall,good simple apple pic.

Excellent detail, not wowed by the green poster board. The shade of green seems a little strong compared to the apple.
Great job in lighting.
