This is a shot of a flower (species unknown to me) at the Adelaide Botanical Garden which seems to resemble an egg. The background has been altered to focus more attention towards the flower, but might have reduced that 'summer-factor'. Regardless of that, enjoy!
Wow, you've made that into a real stunner Michael! The alterations sure do make the flower stand out, and I agree that it looks very delicate and paper-like. Tearing my eyes away from the egg, the background is mesmerising too..the hint of green is very good there. Like you said, taking most of the green out does make the picture a bit less cheerful but the added drama is brilliant. Very well done! :)) Nadia
