A great sense of majesty in this tree - it's as though the sun itself is playing second fiddle to it! You did a great job of keeping the sun from overwhelming the scene!

beautiful..... i must appreciate this mans observation and then putting them in this little passage... he has condensed it beautifully and so has u. i feel u have brought us a beautiful insight of the common thing, that grows every where but they say few people see and few other brings it home and share it...
i like the rythemical changing hue of blue...and offcourse the black, white and fadin blue due to light in the middle.....

Your images and words are such a treat Alison, this is so beautiful and I think a great entry in the new project! I love trees and this one is just lovely against the beautiful blues of the sky, and the wonderful lighting, I like your use of negative space too, very well done!!
