A word From Laura's Grandson!
Sorry it has been a minute I have been dealing with a lot but I finally went and read online and saw the photo and comments it was a beautiful picture, and I had no idea that my grandmother touched so many lives. If you talked to her for awhile you knew she wasnt afraid to voice her opinion and she was sometimes overly opinionated and very stubborn! But when you got past that and you really knew her she had a heart of gold, she was a self less person, anything that we needed she would get it for us. If she didnt get it, it was because we didnt need it. She was the most fun person to be around. She was well connected to God but down to earth and real. She would sometimes tell me of the visions she had about heaven and God speaking to her about different things. She had a wonderful personality of a funny stubborn old granny, who acts bad ass but really is the most loving of people. You can tell all of the people that knew her this, forward it or put it on the tribute page if you like. Also if you would like I can send you all some of her work, she did pictures (of course) but she also did poems. I have some and I can send you them, we even used a few for her funeral. Thank you and everybody for being a part of Mam Maw's life.
Qué triste noticia!!!... claro hacía un tiempo no se la veía subir fotos! he disfrutado mucho con sus imágenes, la verdad una gran pérdida para todos nosotros Emotivo homenaje Alison....una bella flor , tal com lo fue ella!
Thanks for putting this up, Alison! I have wondered on occasion what happened to Laura. It was good of her grandson to tell us a little more about the person who's only connection to us was through her photographs she posted here. If her family reads this, you have my sympathy and condolences. Dave.
