  Q. Nikon Equip. F/S & misc.

Asked by Klifton K.    (K=3386) on 8/26/2005
OK, since the twins are here, and I don't have as much time for experimenting, I'm cutting my equipment back. :) I figured I'd throw up the opprotunity here before giving it to the eBay lot... Paypal is preferred. Buyer pays actual shipping.

$375 - Nikon N90s w/ MF-26 data back and vertical grip. I'll include whatever leftover film I have as well... Should have a few rolls of Astia and TMX 100, as well as maybe a roll of Velvia and some other misc. stuff... I'll send a CD with it, with manuals for the MF-26 and N90s on it... All is in quite good condition... The grip has a few scratches on it, esp. around the tripod mount... The body has the typical scuffs, but nothing aweful, and the back is perfect. I also have the original back which shows a bit more use. If you want, I'll send pics of the body, grip & backs. Just let me know.

$150 - Nikon 70-210 f/4-5.6 (non-D)... Great lens, pretty good bokeh, especially for this range of price. Very good lens imo, and very well built. It has the typical creep, but is as tight as any... focuses well, no backfocus issues or anything... glass is very good.

$115 - Nikon AIS 50mm f/1.8 (early). One of, if not the best 50mm Nikon has ever made... Won't meter on my D70 though, and I don't see a D2X in my near future... but if you're after this lens, this is the one! Absolutely flawless condition!

$140 - Nikon series E manual focus 75-150 f/3.5. Probably the best bokeh of any lens you'll get under $1000. Outstanding all the way around for a short telephoto. Great color and clarity. I really love this lens... Great macro capabilities too, especially with a close-up lens. This lens has been acclaimed by the best! Again, the twins force daddy to get rid of his toys. :)

$210 - Nikon AIS 28mm f/2.8 - Probably the favorite of any lens I've ever used! WONDERFUL close focus abilities! All of my still life is shot with this lens. PERFECTLY straight lines... nearly macro close focusing abilities, just wonderful in every way... You'll probably have to pry this from my fingers! Again, I'm a daddy now, I'm a daddy now, I'm a daddy now. :) This lens is also acclaimed by any who have used it.

$110 - Gitzo 1564L monopod, perfect condition.

Not sure what other misc. stuff I have. I'll post more if something pops up. This is the main stuff I'm needing to sell.

email me if you have any further questions, request pics, or wanna buy some stuff. :)

Thanks!

hello Klifton,
I've already emailed you a couple of times to the address on your photo page. I decided to join usefilm this morning, so can now respond directly to your post.

I want to purchase the Gitxo 1564L monopod if it is still for sale. paypal would be perfect for payment.

IF you have any lenses that would fit a new Canon EOS 20 D we may be interested in one or more of them as well.

I look forward to your reply- & have a great day.

thanks,
geoffrey

I am interested in your Nikon AIS 28mm f/2.8, do you know if that will fit the Nikon D70, and is it still available? Please respond my comment, or email me at: pizzaimpulse@yahoo.com. Thank you. Gary.

Hi Klifton you wouldn't happen to have a cable release for a D70 would you? How about a polarizing filter?
